3 years ago, the Drupal community and the documentation team inspired me powerfully and had me bowing for their great contributions, and so I had written a little HowTo for creating a custom login bar for Drupal 5. I had just written and placed it somewhere under one of the various Drupal handbooks, wondering if anybody would read and find it useful.
Today I unwillingly came across this same page I had planted, and found it to have received numerous comments which translate to improvements from here and there. Ebizon Technologies seem to have developed a module which implements it as a drop-in ready to use thingie.
It's certainly a good feeling! Thank you, Drupal community. Today you inspire me again.

I am sitting right behind you. I needed to do a horizontal login bar in Drupal. I googled for it and yes. It was your post.

It was tough for startups in India, but things are better now. There are 2 - 4 seed level sources. Yes there needs to be more, but I think these 4 seed level investors are not fully deployed due to lack of high growth startups.India is a large market and is growing fast, I don’t think it’s a write off by any standard, just slower, so one must keep the burn low initially..
